Paris Horse Jumping
Paris, France has a long love affair with the equestrian world of horse jumping. Every year, the city hosts horse jumping events; the Saute Hermes in March, and the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping scheduled this year from July 1 to 3.
The July event is the 10th leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, which is made up of 15 stages that take place in various cities around the world.
Last year the event venue was on the Champs de Mars, the green located across from the base of the Eiffel tower. However as a result of the Euro soccer tournament hosted in France this year, the venue of the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping tournament is moved to La Plaine de Jeux de Bagatelle in Bois de Boulogne, located in the affluent 16th arrondissement of Paris.
This year's event will showcase over 250 horses, and is sure to impress horse lovers, and aficionados of the elegant equestrian sport of horse jumping.
